Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.  This a group page for the fantastic 10K team:

Elliott Andrews, Joe MunroSarah Thorne, Mindy Clarke, Lizzie Bett, Nazma Jabbar, Anna Bradbury, Harriet Rees, Joanna Godden, Mike Miller, Birgit Miller, Katy Whelan, Denis Deasy, Gargi Patel, Alice Cripps, Bronwin Wheatley, Tom Grieves, Georgina Tester- Allen and Jo Rees

As an Ambassador for the Sussex Cancer Fund, I'm delighted to bring together this brilliant team to run the Brighton Marathon 10K.  Last year I ran the 10K whilst going through chemo and now that I'm through my treatment and better, I'd like to help others.  The SCF is a brilliant way of doing that.

With a local charity like the SCF,  even a small amount of money goes a very long way to helping people affected by cancer.  The charity supports the cancer centre here in Brighton with both equipment and research as well as plugging all those gaps left in the NHS budget.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Please help us to make a big difference to those people living with cancer in Sussex.

Thank you.  Jo x

Birgit and Mike Miller are dedicating their run to the memory of their friend John in America who has just died of pancreatic cancer.
