Dove House Hospice provides specialist care in Hull and East Yorkshire to adults with life limiting illnesses. With the patient and their family at the centre of the hospice's care, a range of services are provided to ensure each patient gets the right support and care they need.

Story

Update 01/02/17. It is with the deepest sadness that I have to announce that unfortunately Mike lost his brave battle yesterday. Our thoughts go out to his wife, Adrienne, their two beautiful children Kaiden and Gracie and all of Mike's family and friends. Sleep well Mike.

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

My colleagues and I from 90 Signals Unit would like to raise money for Dove House Hospice.

Our good friend, Mike Shakesby is currently receiving palliative care at Dove House after his extremely brave and hard fight against terminal cancer.

Mike and his beautiful family are part of our Royal Air Force family and I want this amazing place to get as much money as we possibly raise. I have seen first hand the incredible work they do caring for both Mike and his family.

Although very poorly, Mike is selflessly trying to raise money for Dove House. I feel proud to know Mike and this cause is very close to my heart.

For those who don't know Dove House provide palliative care for people with terminal illnesses. They work tirelessly to ensure that the best care is received and this is all at no cost to the patient or their family.

We really want to raise as much money as possible before the event so please SHARE, SHARE, SHARE to help us achieve this!!!
