As with most 'genius' ideas, the plan to do the Paris Marathon started down the pub after a few too many beers. "Team Slob" was named in honour of our local - which seemed fitting :-)

Now, after months of early morning training, 'man' leggings, sweat, blood, bad hips, potential shin splints and vomiting (no names mentioned ... Simon) we are on the final countdown to the big day - Sunday 15th April.

We are running for FitzRoy, a fantastic charity that supports people with learning disabilities to live independently and make their own choices in life. Please dig deep and make the pain of running 26.2 miles worth our while!
