Thank you to all of you that sponsored us for Sonny’s 4th birthday walk. We were overwhelmed with the love and support.  

And now it is our little guys turn… at 19 months old he is going to do a 1km in memory of his big brother, Sonny. (Remember we do not write the little guys name on social media).

On Sunday 18th September our little guy, alongside us, will complete his first ever 1km sponsored walk to raise money for Tommy’s.

Over the past few months I have been working with the team at the Rainbow Clinic, the clinic that looked after us during our little guys pregnancy, to organise the Rainbow Race 2022.

It’s likely you have already sponsored us for Sonny’s birthday and we know times are extra hard but even £1 would be much appreciated.

On the 27th July 2022 it will be four years since our beautiful boy Sonny was born. This date is also the day he died.

I made many promises to our boy and one of them was to always celebrate his birthday in Team SF style… others were to ensure his memory lives on and that his life would make a difference to others. A way in which we can do this is to fundraise to support research into saving babies lives. 

This year me and the little guy (***remember we don’t post his name on social media so please don’t write it on any messages***) will be walking 26km the weekend before Sonny’s birthday and on his birthday we will do the final 1km as a family.  

If Sonny was physically with us we’d be having a party and celebrating another magical year of him… so instead we will celebrate him in the ways we are able and hope that you can be a part of that by sponsoring us on our 27km walk.

Of course if anyone wants to join us for part of the walk then please let me know. We had a few special guests last year and it was beautiful.

The money raised for Sonny’s 4th birthday walk will go towards our Rainbow Race 2022, which is in September. This is an event I am involved in alongside staff at the Tommy’s Rainbow Clinic. This clinic supported us to bring Mad & Sonny’s baby brother home safely. All money raised will go directly to Tommy’s baby charity. A charity that dedicates their work to saving babies lives.
