Eight years ago we lost our little boy Thomas to a rare form of cancer called neuroblastoma. In his final days we stayed at the Shooting Star hospice in Hampton and they supported us and our family through a truly heartbreaking time. They were amazing. 

Because of this they hold a special place in our hearts and over the past year smaller charities such as Shooting Star Chase have not been able to fundraise as they normally would to allow them to carry on with their vital work supporting families such as ours. 

So, together with my friends Susie and Charlotte, we are getting up very early on Sunday 17th October to take part in the 20km Sunrise Walk to help make every moment count for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families.
