Who are we? 

We are TeamTrix: 'Inspiring Confidence. Creating Opportunities. Changing Young Lives.’  We are an energetic team of Citrix colleagues furiously working hard to raise money on behalf of The Prince's Trust through the Million Makers Challenge.

Why should you support this cause? 

The Prince's Trust helps 11-30 year-olds in the UK who are unemployed or struggling at school to transform their lives. Many are in, or leaving care, facing issues such as homelessness or mental health issues, or have been in trouble with the law. The trust has helped 870,000 young people since 1976 and supports over 100 more each day. Over the last 10 years alone, they have returned £1.4 billion in value to society and they plan to help another 1 million people by 2023. 

What is the Million Makers Challenge?

It is an entrepreneurial fundraising challenge where teams across the UK aim to raise over £1m collectively through pitching and executing Dragons’ Den style business plans across a 6 month period (July-December). Last year the teams collectively raised over £2m and Citrix were presented the ‘New kids on the block’ award for raising £75k – the largest amount a new team has ever raised. As a result, this year we have set ourselves an ambitious target to exceed this. 

Our plea!

We have a number of exciting, entertaining and tough fundraising activities planned this year to support the UK’s leading youth charity. The money raised will go towards programmes which will give these vulnerable young people the practical and financial support needed to stabilise their lives, helping develop confidence, motivation and skills for work.
