We fund additional respite care in Oxon to children with life-limiting illness

Story

ROSY (Respite Nursing for Oxfordshire’s Sick Youngsters) funds additional respite nursing care at home for children with chronic, life-limiting or terminal illnesses in Oxfordshire. We also provide equipment for sick children which can improve their day-to-day lives, and a counselling service for families who are affected by having a child who is suffering from an illness requiring respite care. This vital support is funded entirely by ROSY charity funds, operated by Oxford Health Charity.

Tom and Jim will be taking part in the YUKON 1000 - THE WORLD’S TOUGHEST SURVIVAL AND ENDURANCE RACE! A totally self-supported 1000 mile paddle from Canada into the Arctic Circle, finishing in the Alaskan backcountry.

PURE ISOLATION. TOTAL EXHAUSTION. ABSOLUTE SELF-SUFFICIENCY.

“MORE PEOPLE HAVE BEEN UP EVEREST THAN HAVE BEEN BEYOND DAWSON CITY”

Both Tom & Jim are endurance athletes and expeditionary types. We are made for adventure, love to challenge and push ourselves beyond our limits to see what is possible and to go places very few have ever been.
