The Dan Eley Foundation works with trustworthy and competent partners who provide vocational, or life skills training, mentoring services, team building excursions, or other opportunities for self-development. We work in Colombia and the UK. We believe that all young people have a unique potential.

Story

In donating you will be supporting the Dan Eley Foundation. A great cause that aids children predominantly in Columbia yet also does work for disadvantaged Surrey children.

In Columbia 41% of children don't finish secondary school and in Surrey 10% of children live in poverty. The money will go directly to helping identified children by supplying equipment or personal help.

We are Team Ward from Wave 3 of the Guildford based NCS programme.

We have been paired with the Dan Eley Foundation and are working to fundraise for this foundation. Dan overcame the heartbreak of his paralysis from a freak accident having worked in Columbia for 2 years and set himself upon creating the Dan Eley Foundation. His passion for helping to make a difference in Columbia is reflected in his charity by the fact most of the money goes to Columbia.

The foundation helps disadvantaged young people transform their lives and Dan himself gives most motivational speeches to audiences when booked to talk about his personal journey and how he has achieved what he has.

The foundation works on directly influencing the lives of young people on a very personal level through the donation of equipment such as a laptop to benefit studies. Awareness is also raised for the youth living in poverty in Surrey despite the perception held by most that everyone is well off.

With the help granted by this foundation young children are given the possibility to have a brighter future they otherwise wouldn't have.
