Recently, our friend and colleague, John, who was a memorable and lovely character, lost his battle with cancer. We are running 10k to raise money for Cancer Research UK in his memory.

We are a group of technician from St Thomas' Hospital working in Intensive Care. We are pushing ourselves to reach an acceptable time and motivating each other daily (social media has proven to be a little bit mean- using some ahhhhm 'strong' motivational comments).

Through vigorous training of running up 10 flights of stairs, running with buggies and a bad knee (then awarding ourselves with far too much cake), our target is to do this within 1 hour (or at least one of us will) so please sponsor us to achieve this target.

We are doing this with the ultimate dream that one day everyone will be able to beat cancer and thus we will run in the name of Victory.

We will be running in Victoria Park on the 28th of June 2014 at 11am. So help us raise money by sponsoring us with whatever you can.
