The Technology Pub Quiz returns

It’s that time of year again.  The nights are getting longer, the winter coat is out of the wardrobe for the first time and the X Factor auditions are over.  Fortunately, to counter the approaching gloom of winter and that long slog to Christmas, the Technology Pub Quiz is back.  The Technology intelligentsia will be missing in action once again, and it promises to be a real battle to avoid the humiliation of finishing last.

The Technology Community Investment fundraising target for 2011 is £6,031.  So far we’ve raised a very respectable 92% of our target, but we’re still only one place off the bottom of the Consulting competency fundraising league table.  The last pub quiz raised over £2,500 so the prospects of a late surge up the table are very promising.

Venue: The Square Pig, 30-32 Procter Street, Holborn, WC1V 6NX

Our comperes without compare will be the dynamic duo of Stephen Mercer and Royston Seaward.  It promises to be a fine evening.

 

Team registration

You can register a team of 6 by contacting Mike Ansbro (mansbro @deloitte.co.uk) or Melanie Beresford-Wood (mberesfordwood @deloitte.co.uk).  Please provide a team name (there will be a prize for the best one) and the names of your team members.  The venue only has capacity for 90 people.  Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis, so get your entries (and donations) in early to avoid disappointment!

The suggested donation for registration is £10 per person. 

All proceeds go to our charity partners: Children with Cancer, Help for Heroes and Cancer Research UK.  Anyone wishing to attend but without a full complement can be slotted into any shorthanded teams.
