Flora London Marathon 2005 · 17 April 2005 ·

Over 150,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Story

We are the Michalos twins from Norwood,MA! We are 21 years old and both attend Stonehill College in Easton, Massachusetts. Right now, we are both in London, England interning for our respected companies.

On Sunday April 17th, we are going to run the London Marathon!!! Not only that, we are running for a great cause! We are running for the Multiple Sclerosis Society! Our goal is to raise roughly £3,000 pounds (an estimated $6,000 American Dollars) for this great charity.

We decided to run for the MS Society because a co-worker of ours at my dad's breakfast and lunch restaurant (Toast of The Town in Randolph, MA) has Multiple Sclerosis. She is a fascinating lady, and we just want to run this grueling 26.2 mile race so we can raise money for further research that will wipe out this dreadful disease someday!

People in America, please be aware that the dollar/pound conversion rate is roughly .50 (for example: a £50 pound donation is about $100 US dollars)

People in the UK, please claim that you are a UK taxpayer because you will get a 28 pence/per pound tax bonus on your donation Please sponsor us!!! Many thanks for your support, Teddie and Julie "To give anything less than your best is to sacrifice the gift." -Steve Prefontaine-
