Story
On Sat 6th June as London goes to sleep Wilbur, Andrew, John, Richard and Daniel will be donning our lycra and getting on our bikes to cycle 100km round London taking in all the big sights. (Some of them for longer than others depending how often we have to stop!!) to raise money and awareness for Xeroderma Pigmentosum.
XP is an incredibly rare genetic condition characterised by extreme sensitivity to UV resulting in skin cancers, and for some eye tumours, deafness and neurological degeneration. People with XP are 10,000 times more likely to develop cancer than the general population. Andrew's son Eddison was diagnosed with XP at just 13 months old and Richard also has this condition.
Eddison's Mum, Auntie and Uncle set up Teddington Trust and work tirelessly to improve the lives of families living with Xeroderma Pigmentosum.
All money raised will go directly to Teddington Trust to allow them continue their incredible work.
Please support us to help them
