BASICS Essex are part of the British Association for Immediate Care, a network of volunteer emergency doctors and paramedics trained to provide advanced life-saving pre-hospital care. BASICS Essex respond to incidents at the request of East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust, supplementing the outstanding service provided by ambulance clinicians. Their volunteers respond in their own vehicles or in our scheme response car, anytime, anywhere in Essex.
