We’re Breast Cancer Now, the charity that’s steered by world-class research and powered by life-changing care. We’re here for anyone affected by breast cancer, the whole way through, providing support for today and hope for the future. By 2050, we believe everyone diagnosed with breast cancer will live – and be supported to live well. But we need to act now.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The 'TeeBirds' is a group of ladies from Wentworth Club who have entered the 8k Run4women in Windsor Great Park on 25th September 2010.  Although some of us have run before, many of us are novices who are training hard to reach the level of fitness required.

Our efforts have been encouraged by Karen Duncan, the Lady Captain of Wentworth Golf Club, who has chosen Breakthrough Breast Cancer as her charity for 2010.  Her choice reflects the fact that whilst breast cancer impacts both sexes it is particularly relevant to women and many of our friends, family and colleagues have had this disease.  This charity is dedicated to the preventation, treatment and ultimate eradication of breast cancer and we wanted to do something together in support to raise vital funds that could help to save lives.

Please support the 'TeeBirds' and make our run a real fundraising success by registering a donation via this web site.

STOP PRESS :  We all finished the run on 25th September in under one hour - thank you to all our sponsors - your support is much appreciated.
