As you will be aware, we have pulled together a group (Tees-Riders) and have challenged ourselves to complete the C2C this coming June!
We were unsure of which charity to raise funds for, but after chatting one of the riders came up with the perfect charity, so we have decided to all raise funds in a group effort!
The group have decided to raise funds for the children's epilepsy charity, which is very close to a member of the group's heart, as their Granddaughter Lillie has focal epilepsy.
All funds raised during this ride will go towards purchasing of a Pulse Guard Monitor for a local family that is in need of one.
These monitors are vital for parents of children that have focal epilepsy, as it lets the parents know when the child is having an episode whilst sleeping.
These episodes render the child unconscious and unresponsive and their breathing can become laboured, or in certain circumstances can stop altogether.
I hope you can support our group to helping another Family and prevent the loss of one of their beautiful children.
