Tendeka Charity Support · 11 April 2018

We aim to support neurodivergent people and those with complex conditions who need a safe place where their sensory and behavioural needs are accommodated so they can play, socialise and develop skills. Our services for parent/carers includes support groups, personalised advice and training.

Story

The employees at Tendeka regularly get involved in fundraising activities throughout the year but for 2018 our employees nominated
a number of specific charities which were important to them, to whom we will direct our efforts.  One of those charities was SensationALL based just a short walk from our office in Westhill.

SensationALL aims to improve the lives of children and adults with disabilities and their families in Grampian through practical support, training and therapeutic activities led by highly experienced professionals. To find out more, visit https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCPJBIhlKZDovyi85xZUniYA

A valiant team of volunteers came forward to represent Tendeka in the BHGE 10k in Aberdeen on Sunday 20th May, the Vanguardians.
With training well under way, the Vanguardians, comprising of Eilidh
MacInnes, Alfie McRobb, James Boyle, Damien Patton, Krzysztof Buchajczuk and Mojtaba Moradi, will participate in the Corporate Team Challenge with the ultimate aim of lifting that Corporate trophy while raising some well deserved funds for our chosen charities.

Meanwhile, back in the office, those who don't run - bake!  Whatever the occasion we'll find an excuse for a bake off - and will welcome all cash donations to sample our tasty treats.

We plan to get involved in a range of activities over 2018 with the hope of raising as much funds as possible for some very worthy causes
- and we very much hope you reading this, our friends/family/colleagues/facebook acquaintances will dig deep to support us.
