In January 2014 I lost my much loved and very missed Dad to lung cancer. In the same year my best friend lost her dear dad too. 

Unfortunately cancer effects so many peoples lives, but with the advancement of medicine we are seeing more and more survival stories. Most recently we have seen in the news about early detection tests which wouldn’t have been possible without funding from the likes of Cancer Research UK. 

Throughout the month of October I will be running 100km  and climbing Mount Snowden on 16th October in memory of our dear old dads, Hrach & John but also in honour of everyone who has been touched by cancer and continues the brave fight!
