I lost my Grandmother to a terminal illness back in 2006. She was the head of our family and her loss has left a void that could never be filled. It was an incredibly hard year for myself and my family. But throughout this period, we knew that she was receiving the best palliative care and we had the support of a wonderful nursing team to see us through the process. I could not imagine my family not having had that support at the time.

St Margaret’s hospice is the only hospice in South Somerset, and it is self-funded relying on donations. Please dig deep, it has been an incredibly difficult year especially for those charities and services who heavily rely upon fundraising and donations to deliver their services. Help support those with terminal illnesses and their families get through already difficult times by sponsoring our team on a 20 mile walk through Somerset and Dorset.
