Karen and Teresa's Coast to Coast 192 mile Challenge · 7 July 2022

Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance is a dedicated Helicopter Emergency Medical Service in Lincs & Notts. We deliver the equivalent of an A&E department to the scene of an emergency and can transport patients to the most appropriate hospital or Major Trauma Centre for their needs in as little as 8 minutes.

Story

After many months of training and planning we will be walking from St Bees on the West Cumbrian coast to Robin Hoods Bay on the East Yorkshire coast, the challenge is to do this on our own walking across the Lake District, the York Moors and the Yorkshire Dales with no guide, just maps and newly acquired knowledge of how to read a map and compass, this will take place over 14 days from 8th July 2022.

Being two Lincolnshire ladies in our 60's, who have known each other since we were 5 years old, we are very much looking forward to the challenge together and are raising much needed funds for the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.

We are funding the trip ourselves, so anything we raise will go to our chosen charity.  So, if you would like to sponsor us it would be very much appreciated.

Even if you don't live in Lincolnshire or Nottinghamshire there is a good chance you will travel through the County, so it would be good to know that this amazing service exists if you need it.

Thank You!
