Teresa's memorial page

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As most people know, we sadly and suddenly lost our lovely Mum on Wednesday 6th January 2021.
Teresa, born 1951, was one of many siblings raised in Penponds, Cornwall. Her early years saw her attend Penponds Primary School, moving up to Treswithian Secondary in the 60s. In her youth, she enjoyed attending nights out at the Flamingo Club with her friends.
Throughout her adult life, Teresa had many jobs working in several well established factories and always showed a flare and passion for textiles. This she continued into later life, dedicating her spare room to crafting. She was her own handyman, doing all the odd jobs and DIY around the house and had even gotten her forklift license whilst working in Hemel Hempstead. She could often be found putting her green fingers to use in her beautiful garden or lost in a book about some gruesome murder or other.
Teresa leaves behind four children; Bryony, Hayley, Kirsty and Adam and a great many Grand children, even becoming a Great Nan in recent years.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and we hope you have fond memories of your own.
Teresa loved her three dogs; Buster, Pickles and Lola and they were often said to be her shadow around the house. Due to the suddenness of her passing, finding a home for all three dogs was going to be a challenge. The Last Chance Hotel stepped in and found amazing foster homes for them within a few days where they will be loved just as much as they were by their Mummy. Because of this, and because we believe Teresa would not have desired flowers, we are asking for donations to this wonderful charity.
