Story
When a friend is diagnosed with cancer or has a sick child, we rally around, show our support, organize benefits and make meals. When a friend is battling a mental illness, it's a challenge to know what to say or how to show our support. I want those I care about to know that I am here - to support them, to listen, to help them find a glimpse of hope in their day.
This week I am running 10 miles to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Mike's Run. 2020 continues to be a challenging year and our support of mental health is needed now more than ever.
Please consider making a gift to MCHS so we can continue to care for our communities and provide resources and support while creating awareness.
One in five U.S. adults live with a mental illness. Join us at Mike's Run and support mental health services in our community. The family and friends of Mike Hackman and Marshfield Clinic Health System are joining to together, for the 10th year, to educate and improve the health of our community. After losing Mike, his friends and family came together with a passion for advocating mental health awareness and providing a hopeful message to those affected.
I am grateful for your consideration... and remember... I am here for you!
