I first ran the Great North Run in 2011 to raise funds for what was then known as Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research, and then again in 2021 under its current name of Blood Cancer UK.

Now we are in 2023, and my youngest niece Katie's recent diagnosis of stage 3 Hodgkin's Lymphoma, has focused my mind (and hopefully body!) to do it all again (and 10th GNR in total).

Katie is a remarkable young woman, please help me raise funds to help people like her and fund research to identify new treatments to beat (and hopefully in the future, prevent) all blood cancers.
