We are dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young cancer patients aged 13-24. We fund and build specialist units in NHS hospitals and provide dedicated staff, bringing young people together so they can be treated by teenage cancer experts in the best place for them.

Story

In January this year my younger brother Ian discovered he had Lymphoma Cancer. One of the most difficult cancers to battle. Although he knew he would have the fight of his life on his hands he held his head high and swore he would not give up and would fight with everything he had. He had the most intensive chemo possible for him and felt exhausted after each bout. But even through everything he was going through he smiled and made jokes to keep his family smiling and strong! He never complained or felt sorry for himself! He made a decision to do things he had never done like riding a roller coaster and trying as many different take away foods he could manage! He made me proud.

His sarcasm and jokes made us all smile and it is something that I will miss for as long as I live. His strength, courage and fight is something that will forever make me proud.

Sadly though in may my brother was told there was nothing more the doctors could do for him and informed us all he did not have long. One of the hardest thing I have ever had to hear someone say. After Ian was told he said to me "I'm not giving up that easy". I knew he meant it and I saw my little brother battle with everything he had in him. Sadly though it was not enough and on Wednesday 18th June my little brother of 35 years old passed away.

So as requested by him to my youngest brother Mark we will honour him each year by doing a charity event in his name. Next year myself, family and friends will be doing the London to Paris bike ride and we ask that you donate as much as you can to help us raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust as this was his choice of charity.
