Whenever I get the chance to go out cycling I take it. I love cycling, so when I hear of the chance to raise money to help others, by doing something that I enjoy, I take it. It's as simple as that.

On Sunday August 5th 2012 I will be cycling 60 miles through the lovely countryside of Hertfordshire and Essex, to raise as much money as possible in aid of the charity Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research.

It also helps me, when I'm out there puffing away, to know that my efforts are producing results. I said I enjoy cycling, I didn't say it was always easy and 60 miles is still 60 miles! So, come on, give this 69 year old guy a hand!
