Story

The Helen Arkell Dyslexia Centre charity has been hit hard by the CONVID-19 pandemic. The '2.6 Challenge' originates from the cancelled 26th April 2020 London Marathon, which being a sporty event appeals to me. So, with wife Yvonne being involved with HADC for many years I feel it's a perfect time to 'give it a go'. Show off my golf skills, or not, and raise a few bob for a very worthy charity.  I plan to pitch 26 balls, mostly golf balls but with a few odd sized ones, into a distant target with a radius of 2'6" and 26yds away. Time = I will start at 26 minutes past the hour and take as long as it takes.

About the charity

Left undiagnosed and unsupported, dyslexia negatively impacts children and young people. It affects their self-esteem. Their ability to learn. Their life chances. With your support, Helen Arkell Dyslexia Charity can help people with dyslexia from all backgrounds to believe, achieve and succeed.
