The East and West Peckham Pilgrimage Walk · 2 June 2022

Fundraising to provide help to Ukrainian orphans and sick children.

Story

The St Dunstan’s Lent Group would love the West Peckham community to come together and support the most innocent of the war in Ukraine, the children/orphans.  Whilst not a UK focussed charitable effort we took great courage from the work of counterparts in Switzerland to rehome c50 Ukrainian orphans.  In cooperation with Swiss and Ukrainian authorities the charity we have chose are facilitating the evacuation of an orphanage from Ukraine to Geneva..The Federal Ayslum Centers in Geneva do not have facilities to host the large group of children, therefore, the charity is looking to monthly rent the premise to accomodate around 50 children. The average monthly house rent in Geneva is around 5000- 6000 CHF.!
