Malle to Hartley Wintney Bike Ride Team · 22 August 2013

St John's Church is the parish church in the Hampshire village of Hartley Wintney. In April 2012, the church commenced the building of a new £2.3m Church Centre, which, when completed in June 2013, will provide new facilities for our church and wider community. Please help us to raise the final 20%.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm cycling 300 miles to raise money for St John’s Church, the village parish church in Hartley Wintney, which is organising a charity cycle ride over the August Bank Holiday 2013. We will start from the town of Malle, north east of Antwerp, Belgium and cycle back home.

80% of the funds raised will go towards the new St John’s Church Centre building and 20% will be donated to two local charities: St Michael’s Hospice, Basingstoke, which cares for terminally ill patients across North Hampshire, and The Matthew Elvidge Trust, committed to raising awareness of depression in young adults, working with charities and universities across UK.

I am meeting the cost to enter the event myself, so your entire sponsorship money will go directly to the charities.
