Bodmin Jail Night for Cornwall Hospice Care · 4 November 2017
As a Clinical Matron for Cornwall Care, a private care provider, providing passionate care and support to our clients during the End stage of their life, is a matter close to my heart.
Our services provide love and support to our clients and their relatives and we do work closely with our local Hospice's and their staff.
In order to raise awareness for this important cause myself and my Senior Team at our Trengrouse Service in Helston want to contribute to this by taking part in this event.
Having recently visited the Jail, and reading the life stories of the people who was part of this haunted place, it struck me how we do take life for granted and that we should treasure it so much more.
We as a team feel privilege to be in a position to support people in this way.
The Hospice's aim is for all people living with a terminal illness in Cornwall to be able to access the care & support they may need at the time & in the place that is right for them & their families. We aspire to deliver the highest possible quality care & support to our patients & their families. We strive to develop & secure the resources necessary to achieve this, both now & in the future. With only 20% of our funding coming from Cornwall's NHS Commissioners, the rest is raised with the support of the people of Cornwall and beyond - thank you all.
