A few years ago a good friend and neighbour lost their beautiful 13 year old son to cancer, then the following year a close relative was diagnosed with cancer, but thankfully survived.

We are sadly all touched by cancer in some way, and although early diagnosis and survival rates are improving, there is still a long way to go.

This year, because of the Covid-19 pandemic, hundreds of patients face critical delays to their diagnosis and treatment that could cost them their life. Cancer Research Wales believe that today’s research is tomorrow’s health, and are dedicated to funding world-class research to create a better future for cancer patients in Wales. However, they cannot do this alone and rely on the generosity of people like you to ensure fewer people feel the fear and heartbreak of cancer.
