Story
An unlikely bunch of misfits and miscreants that have all already completed at least one challenge for Aspire started out as the Aspire Panthers, reformed as the McPanthers and now Les Panthers will be taking on the most idiotic challenge anyone has yet come up with.
As a relay, one hour at a time, we will be "running" from Marble Arch to Dover 80 miles, swimming to France 23 miles, and then cycling to Paris 180 miles. This is going to be brutal and take days!
Previously I have completed a Channel Relay Swim, A Loch Ness Relay Swim (colder and deeper than the Channel), a Loch Lomond Relay Swim (colder than the Channel and longer than both Loch Ness and the Channel).
Before this challenge the only running I did was for a bus and even then I'd probably just wait for the next one. I am now completing Park Run every Saturday morning and have been training on my e-bike and waiting for my new "normal" bike to arrive before upping my training on that. This is tough and there is a reason we all started training more than a year before the event.
