true faith supporting Crisis 2019/20

true faith supporting Crisis season 19/20 · 2 April 2019
UPDATE:
Less than a week to go before Micky Carling and Simon Campbell embark on their 13.1 mile run for Crisis. Si has never done the run before so this is going to be a huge effort. After a couple of injury scares both are as ready as they will ever be for Sunday.
So far in training, every run Si has done has been the furthest he's ever run in his life and Micky has struggled/hobbled up and down the endless hills of Low Fell. Both lads are getting increasingly nervous about the impending half marathon and would be incredibly grateful of any support you could give.
Our story so far
At true faith we have raised over £10,000 for the West End Foodbank in Newcastle through the immense generosity of Newcastle United supporters.
We opted for a new charity for the 2019/20 season and Crisis need our support as they battle homelessness in the city and the region.
We have a number of events planned to raise money for Crisis over the coming year, which began with our live podcast event in London the night before the Fulham game in May.
Also in May, we are brought some of the people that Crisis support to St James' Park on May 24th to play on the pitch in a charity game against true faith. This was paid for by the lads and lasses at true faith and all funds raised have been added to this pot.
Both Micky and Si are running the GNR in aid of Crisis this September. Si has never ran more than 5km before so this is a big ask!
If you enjoy what we produce content wise we implore you to support Crisis however you can, and if you can help us support the charity through our fundraising, we would be immeasurably grateful.
We'll update progress throughout the year!
