St George’s Breast Team London to Liverpool cycle · 29 March 2022

‘Better Care, Healthier Lives’. We are the charity that exists to support St George’s hospitals and the communities they serve. Every day, our work makes a real difference to patients, their families and friends and the staff who care for them.

Story

Team Cycle Breast to Breast will be making the 230mile journey by bike from the Rose Centre, our breast unit at St George’s Hospital to the ACC conference centre in Liverpool for the start of the 2022 Association of Breast Surgeons conference centre In May.

We want to raise money for our charitable fund to support much needed research into improving patient experience of breast cancer surgery and research to support the introduction new technologies to improve breast cancer surgery.

We are a team of 10 novice cyclists lead by consultant surgeon Sarah Tang. 

 Most of us have not cycled more than 10 miles in a day! We have a few months of tough training ahead of us and with your help and support plan to cover the 230mile distance in 2-3 days.
