Hey, Thandeka here!  So, this page is dedicated to raising money for Action Romania 2022. You might be wondering, what is Action Romania all about? 

Well, this is a new project this year which involves travelling to Romania to volunteer with the charity Children in Distress. On this trip, myself and other volunteers will visit the various children's hospices and care centres which are run by the charity, who provide love and care for children and infants who suffer from illness, are terminally ill and come from disadvantaged backgrounds. Whether this is playing games with them, taking them on trips to the beach or even just holding their hand. This trip is all about being with the children and putting a smile on their faces. 

When I saw the opportunity, I knew it was something I wanted to do. We all have the power to impact others in positive ways - no action is too small! Children in Distress do a great service  and their cause inspired me to play my part in contributing to that cause. I am grateful to be part of it!
