Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My mother was Valerie Cooper. She sadly lost her life to pneumonia on 10th January 2020, at age 74. This terrible shock illness came to light following a fall she sustained at home.
I could not have wished for a kinder medical and support team. I could not have wished for a better facility. I could not have wished for a more sensitive and kind hospital Chaplain.
Every aspect of this dreadful landmark in my family, was met with kindness, consideration, dignity and humanity and I cannot thank the staff of Brantham Ward, and those who support their work, enough.
In memory of my late mother, I hope that this gesture will go some way toward expressing our most heartfelt gratitude. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the final sum raised: 465 pounds and 64p. My mum would have been chuffed.
