Story

The Rt Revd Nicholas Holtam is retiring as Bishop of Salisbury at the beginning of July.

If you would like to give a gift towards mission, in thanksgiving for Bishop Nicholas’ ministry, then the Aldhelm Mission Fund is a way to support mission projects across the Diocese he has served faithfully.

Thanks to your generous gifts and mission grants over the past 16 years, the Aldhelm Fund has distributed £850,000 in grants - ranging from £500 to £35,000 - to local churches, funding over 100 mission projects.

Recent examples include Christchurch Creekmoor's kitchen, ‘Not Just Sundaes’ in Wareham, the Life Exhibition in Pewsey, and 'Table', the new Poole Missional Communities training tool for pioneer ministers.

We can do even more, with your help! And Bishop Nicholas would be delighted if you would say “thank you” in this way for all that he has brought to the Diocese.

The Aldhem Fund is self-supporting, independent of Parish Share, and solely dependent on gifts and grants.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
