"Every year I produce the Thomas Haywood calendar, because it’s a great way to showcase my work - and every year, people ask me: “Oh, can I give you some money for this?”

They really value what I do with the calendar, and normally I wouldn’t dream of asking for anything in return. This year is different, but because I feel that this is a season of giving, not the season of profiteering, I want to give something back to a worthy cause - like the hospices, who, at this time of year are there for people in times of suffering.

So, in December 2020, it’s time to give a bit of joy, time to give a bit of love to people who need it most, and by directing this money towards charitable aims, we are helping people in this time of festive giving.

This is a very, very worthy cause, and so many charities have been suffering due to Covid. People have been tightening their belts financially, and I feel it is time to aid these charities - starting with CHAS. If they don’t have the cash, they cease to exist, in which case there’s more suffering. So, giving a little can go a long way. Please dig deep, people!
