Paris Marathon 2012 · 15 April 2012 ·

Students from under-resourced backgrounds are three times less likely to make it to a top university than peers from more advantaged backgrounds. We support these students to access top universities through bespoke mentoring, skills-building coaching, tuition, and enrichment activities.

Story

On Sunday, April 15th 2012, five volunteers will be running the Paris Marathon to raise money for The Access Project.

The team have set a tough fundraising challenge: £30,000! This is enough to fund ten students through all four years of The Access Project.

It will pay for their textbooks, their travel to their tutorials, their participation in our Confidence & Articulacy Workshops and our UCAS & Careers Support events, their places on residentials with our university partners and their support by our fine Programme Managers – who could ask for anything more?!

You can see here how well we’re doing and at the moment it’s plain to see that we need your help!
