Story
On 26th July, we will be aiming to play 72 holes (4 rounds) of golf in one day. This equates to 26 miles of walking, the same distance as a marathon, and depending on your standard of golf over 350 swings of your club. The team consists of Ian Fairley, Michael Grover, Kostas Dellas and James Pagden, all raising money for Prostate Cancer UK.
Prostate Cancer is now the most commonly diagnosed cancer in the UK, killing one man every 45 minutes in the UK. That's the same time it takes to play three holes of golf.
The money raised by this challenge will help fund research into life-saving treatments for prostate cancer and provide practical support to men and their families.
We will be taking on this challenge at Crews Hill Golf Club in Enfield, teeing off at first light around 5am, potentially playing through until gone 9pm.
