Story
So,I have decided to take on The Big Golf Race to help raise money and awareness of prostate cancer to keep men in the game for longer.
So this is for you dad.
back in September 2021 we lost my dad to cancer, he had battled it for many years and always tried to keep a smile on his face. He was a big fan of golf and played at every opportunity he got, myself on the other hand am a bit of a novice. But thanks to the support of my dad, I managed to play nearly every time we saw each other. Even when I was a kid he took me to so many course across the UK and Europe, I was immensely grateful for everything he did for me.
This is why I am doing this event and thanks to some of my amazing friends Darren Gittins and Winston Barnett, we are going to take on 36 holes in one day to raise as much money and awareness as we can .
Prostate cancer affects 1 in 8 men in the UK. That’s thousands of dads, brothers, partners, grandads, mates, sons and uncles. But it doesn’t have to be this way.
Your donation will help fund lifesaving research to find better tests to diagnose men sooner. Thank you for your support.
