The Big Macs are Jo McDonald Molloy (aka Chief Mac) and Ruth McCracken (aka Wee Mac). Jo is walking the 5k because she can, despite a really tough year following the discovery of a malignant tumour on her lung. Ruth is walking a respectful ten paces behind because she thinks there's a drink in it for her.
