The Blossom Project, supported by our Charity, enables volunteers to provide support and companionship for patients receiving End of Life Care and their loved ones. They help to ensure that wherever possible no-one dies alone.

Story

On 6th October, we are going to complete the journey from the Luton and Dunstable Hospital to Bedford Hospital on foot and bike!

There will be no cars - only our walking boots, a couple of bikes and hopefully tons of water.

The Blossom Volunteers have the privilege of witnessing one's final challenge in their last days of life. In connection, the Charity Team and a maximum of 15 other people (from the community or hospital staff) will take on the personal challenge of this 6 and a half hour journey, in memory of the patients that we've helped so far, and to support more patients and families in the future! All funds raised will be donated to the Project to aid the further support of End of Life patients and their loved ones.
