The 2.6 Challenge is a simple and fun way for everyone to do their bit to help save the UKs charities.

Story

Save the UK's CharitiesGeneral fundraising has been hit very hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. Thousands of fundraising events have been cancelled and many charities, are struggling to maintain services because of this huge reduction in income.

This impacts all sectors of society from children to the elderly as well as the vital work in areas such as palliative care, serious diseases, mental health, housing support, food supplies and countless others that charities support. The 2.6 challenge takes place on what would have been the London Marathon.

Therefore, we are going to do what we can to raise money and whatever we raise for Twins Trust - a charity which is doing so much to support parents of twins and triplets during this pandemic - we will then personally match fund and donate to our food bank in our home town.

So, on Sunday, I will be planking for 26 seconds...Matt will run 2.6 miles in 26 minutes, footballer Emily will do 26 keepie-uppies and Jessica will do 26 non-stop skips. Poppy Dog will get excited and bark, probably more than 26 times.

I understand these are difficult times, but if you can you can spare £5, that would be amazing. Thank you. xxxx
