Jacob Rising is raising money for Cancer Research UK
Story
We are five friends from the West Midlands: Anthony, Jacob, Jonathan, Matthew, and Sam.
Earlier this year, Sam's mum, Liz, was diagnosed with cancer.
Thankfully, her cancer is treatable and she has begun a course of radiotherapy and hormone treatments. However, this will not be an easy road for her. There are many strenuous potential side effects relating to these treatments including fatigue and radiation fibrosis. Despite this, Liz is fortunate to have a treatable form of cancer and the support of friends and family, not to mention the ever diligent and attentive NHS staff. Others are not so fortunate.
That is why, in support of Cancer Research UK's movement to 'Beat Cancer Sooner', we will be livestreaming our 'climb' up the League of Legends ranked leaderboards in a 24 hour marathon livestream.

We will be using fresh level 30 accounts, which have never been used in the Ranked (Flex 5v5) queue. There is no end goal in mind, even if we finish as low as Bronze this is all in the spirit of jolly cooperation.
