Keswick Mountain Rescue Team comprises 45 members, all unpaid volunteers, who are available at all times of the day and night in any weather, 365 days per year, to assist those in distress and lost on the mountains of the northern Lake District. Currently, we attend about 136 rescues a year.

Story

There are three reasons why Tim and Kirk will run, swim and cycle 352 km around the Lake District in under 60 hours.

  1. To raise over £10,000 for three wonderful local charities
  2. To be the first to attempt 'The Cumbrian', an ultra-endurance challenge that merges three existing 'ultra rounds' in the UK's Lake District.
  3. To inspire and motivate others to push their own boundaries, dream big and take on meaningful adventure.
