The Great Big Quiz for Alzheimer's Society · 5 June 2020

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

700,000 people with dementia are further isolated due to coronavirus. The pandemic is an incredibly worrying time for all of us – but it’s having a devastating impact on people affected by dementia.

Our ability to run our services are at risk at the very time when people need them most. We anticipate a shortfall of millions of pounds in 2020/21 as a direct result of coronavirus and from cancelling our fundraising events.

The money we raise from the Great Big Quiz will help reach people affected by dementia, ensuring they don't face this alone. Alzheimer's Society are adapting through virtual services, such as Companion Calls, virtual Singing for the Brain and Welfare Calls from trained Dementia Advisers. If you can make a donation today, please do.
