Fundraising for Shine for Shani
Story
Shine for Shani was set up to raise funds in memory of a very special child who’s journey and struggle through a short life touched the hearts of all who knew her.
We are raising funds for paediatric cardiology to improve life chances of children with heart conditions.
We will all running or walking on Sunday 12th September.
Noah will be walking 20 miles & Avi will be walking 13 miles. Jo & Dan will also be walking 13 miles and hoping to get some time to chat! (It’s unlikely that Noah and Avi will allow their parents to walk with them). Sol and Otto will be walking 6 miles!
About Shine for Shani
Shani was born with a large hole in her heart and no artery between her heart and lungs. She suffered heart failure and her family was told she wouldn't recover. Yet, for 5 3/4 yrs, until she died, Shani was a joyful little girl, with a magic heart. We now help other ‘heart children’ live full and happy lives.
