I joined the Royal Navy at 15 for the adventure, I had the honour of serving with some of the finest men and women this country has ever produced. I served in the Falklands where unfortunately my ship was lost. I and my lovely wife are raising money for "Blind Veterans UK" a charity dedicated to helping ex-servicemen and women who have sight loss no matter when or how it occurred. It is a charity close to our hearts and one which I hope you will support. Anne and I will be competing in the 100k walk in June 2014, I am Blind and have lost my right leg below the knee so Anne will not only be my eyes but will pick me up if I fall down. Every penny counts and we ask you to donate whatever you can afford to this very worthy cause.
