We are running the great north run in a bid to improve not only our physical, but mental health in the forthcoming few months whilst also raising money for St Michaels Hospice who support local families living with terminal illness and bereavement. 

A little about us...

Sam & Alisha - We are the owners of the Last Post, we moved to Harrogate a little over two years ago. Sam has previously completed the GNR a few years ago but has not done any running for the past year. However, this is Alisha's first half marathon - it will actually be her first time completing anything over 5k.

Ash - Is a "Post" regular and this will be his second time doing the GNR, having did it for the 1st time in 2021. Ash started running in the UK's first COVID lockdown and retains the bug to get out for health and well-being!
