Story

What could go wrong... 601 Sqn and the Worshipful Company of Actuaries are joining forces and fielding a team for the Lord Mayor’s Appeal Abseil Challenge on 14th September 2018.
Master Actuary, Nick Salter, Air Commodore Nick Bray and Honorary Group Captain The Lord (Robin) Rotherwick will be making the descent from level 47 of The Leadenhall Building, aka 'The Cheesegrater’, one of the tallest buildings in London standing at over 200 metres.
This act of bravery/madness will be raising funds for The Lord Mayor's Appeal, which supports
three charity partners - Samaritans, OnSide Youth Zones and Place2Be - in delivering ground
breaking programmes that can help change people's lives and help create A Better City for All.
The team will make their descent between 11am and noon on 14th September and will then join those who wish to spectate (or simply celebrate afterwards) from noon at nearby pub The Counting House. Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
