What happens when a running joke becomes an actual run? We had a daft idea to visit every Greggs in Newcastle in a day - we Geordies are blessed with 29 of them by our count - and when we realised it would be marathon distance we decided to try and raise some money for charity. The run is on Tuesday 7th August (worryingly soon!).

We're raising money for the Greggs Foundation's Hardship Fund, which provides grants to people in extreme financial need in the North East. They help people who are in really difficult situations to buy things like cookers, fridge freezers and clothing that can make a real difference to their lives.
